RENASCIMENTO
J.B.Xavier

Primeiro considera profunda e sinceramente

Onde escondias tuas dores irreveladas.

A te entoarem novas e reveladoras melodias.

Procura as coisas simples,

RENASCENCE
JB XAVIER

First you must to consider deeply and sincerely
If you have to reform your own soul.
If you to conclude that you really have to do it,
You must know that it will not be easy.
You will have your own self as your greatest enemy
In this great reform.
If, nevertheless,
You decide that your time for change has come,
Do not make the mistake of just trying
Because to try, only, is not enough!
Just do it, or don’t!

However,
If you judge yourself strong enough
To win your inner dragon,
So, begin by your heart!
And do not leave one stone upon stone
Even that debris of feelings
So lovingly saved
For when one day you eventually use them.

Get rid of the old pictures that has no meaning,
Just hurts,
Fixed with rusty nails in the wall of the soul…
Open the windows of your aspirations
For the morning sun of a new day of realization,
And let the purifying light of the sun daring
to shine the dark of your concerns
- For dangers, perhaps imaginary --
Where you have hidden your unrevealed pains.

Hear the trills of the birds of your dreams
Singing new wonderful and revealing melodies for you.
Open the door of the mansion of your past
And you’ll see the path of your ideal
Opening itself in happy and bright future
Adorned with flowers of many joys
Expecting for you, along the journey.

Walk up these ways.
No! Don 't take anything!
Don’t yield to reasons, and to the temptation to take with you
That misleading beautiful velvet box,
That contains sweet memories of a happy past.
It will be your poison,
And you will shed tears
For something that can not be revived or amended
When you should smile
For the green valley of joy
that’s waiting for you and with which neither you dream.

Open the windows of your musty projects
That you delayed for years,
And let the cool breeze of new targets
Establish new directions for your life.
Paint with new and cheerful colors
Your darkened basements,
And let the light of new promises of life to shine it,
And breaking into the niche of your reticence…

Do not fear the silent night of your uncertainties
Neither the occasional rains of your sorrows.
They will come of course,
But nights can be beautiful,
If instead looks into the darkness
Without means,
You decide to look at the sky, to count stars,
And see them as purplish
With God graces the party
Of the discovery of the encounter with your own self.

Rainfall can be invigorating,
If you decide not only
Look for the rivers of your troubles,
Overflowing concerns
But to see with care
The new branches of life expectancy
That arise after the storm…

Open the doors of that crystal closet full of mirrors
Where you kept only the reflection of your good intentions,
And when you to see your own reflection,
Do be worth you
The only thing of value that is worth being stored there.
Undo up to anything that might be just mirages
And go to the fair of new aspirations,
Where you can buy new decorations for your soul.

Do not be fooled by many sparkles.
Search for simple things,
Because it is always the truest.
Get out of your stay pale
In the shadows of longing and despair
And goes to the sun's radiant light of new perspectives.

And when you're walking
By the lane of the meeting with your own heart,
Look, from time to time, up,
To the top of the mountains,
Because that's where born, forever, every morning,
The dawn of a new day!
