The role of teachers and students in the educational process

Unfortunately the acquisition of English as second language in our schools here in Marabá is still very little due to a lot of impasses such as: very short time for teaching English per each class in public schools – in the case of reading, lack of establishment by the teachers of realistic goals for the students, so they could enhance their self steam - overcrowded classrooms – lack of interest in the subjects chosen by the teachers – graduated teachers who are not fluent in English. These are only a few examples which block the spreading of English in our schools.
