Horizon
Again I am at the beach
My thoughts flow like the waves of the sea
Colliding with the rocks
I rebember it now
I remember the cycles of the moon and the sun
Over and over again
I remember this while the tide slowly rises
My suffering will be put to an end
I do not feel regret or shame of the past
I only look toward the future
I only look toward the light
All hope is toward the light
But I am afraid
I am too naive
Afraid of what lies there in the light
Be it good or bad
I am afraid
I wait, I wait
Lying there on the beach
I wait for the rising of the tide
The waves will cover my body
And I will no longer be afraid.
