The right way to live life

If you want to be a happy person, all you have to do is believe in God unconditionally and give your life totally to Him. It may seem difficult for some people to believe this, or even if they do, to put it into practice in their lives. You can only gain by giving your life entirely into God's hands. But it's really delivering. This means never worrying about what might happen, whether things are going to work out or not. With God in control, what you have to do is be totally dedicated to what you do and expect the results without a minimum of anxiety.

Se você quer ser uma pessoa feliz, o que tem a fazer é crer em Deus incondicionalmente e entregar sua vida total mente a Ele. Pode parecer difícil para algumas pessoas acreditar nisso ou, mesmo que acredite, pôr isso em prática em sua vida. Você só terá a ganhar entregando sua vida inteiramente nas mãos de Deus. Mas é entregar de verdade. Isto significa jamais se preocupar com o que pode acontecer, se as coisas vão dar certo ou não. Com Deus no controle, o que você tem a fazer é dedicar-se totalmente àquilo que faz e esperar os resultados sem um mínimo de ansiedade.

If you take a car o a train to a certain destination, do you wonder if it's really going to arrive, if the driver knows how to drive the machine, or if there's enough fuel? Of course not; this would be nonsense and since you bought the ticket and boarded, you are absolutely sure that you will arrive at your destination. That's how our life should be. Once aboard the vehicle called 'life', you need to have the conviction that the machinist, who is God, will lead you safely to the destination you have chosen. But, first, you need to know what this destination is and do what needs to be done to get there and that you will, for sure.

Se você toma um ônibus ou um trem para um determinado destino, fica se perguntando se vai realmente chegar, se o maquinista sabe conduzir a máquina ou se existe combustível suficiente? É lógico que não; isto seria um contrassenso e já que você comprou a passagem e embarcou é porque tem absoluta certeza de que chegará ao seu destino. Assim deve ser a nossa vida. Uma vez embarcado no veículo chamado ‘vida’ você precisa ter a convicção de que o maquinista, que é Deus vai conduzi-lo com toda segurança ao destino que você escolheu. Mas, primeiramente você precisa saber que destino é esse e fazer o que precisa ser feito para chegar lá e que chegará, com toda a certeza.

The big problem with most people is that they don't know what destination they want to reach in this life. In other words, they don't know where they are going. The train of destination is available on the platform of life, all that remains is to go to the station called 'objective' and purchase a ticket to be able to undertake the journey. Knowing the objective and having the ticket in hand, just embark with this conviction. The machinist, 'God', will guide you safely along the way, sometimes through steep paths, sometimes through gentle gorges, but it is certain that you will arrive where you have determined. You are calm, trust your driver and know that the arrival will be triumphant. You made a happy journey because faith led you and a wonderful destination awaits you with open arms.

O grande problema com a maioria das pessoas é que elas não sabem que destino querem alcançar nesta vida. Ou seja, não sabem para onde estão indo. O trem do destino está à disposição na plataforma da vida, faltando apenas que se vá até a estação chamada ‘objetivo’ e se adquira o bilhete para poder empreender a viagem. Conhecendo o objetivo e tendo em mãos o bilhete é só embarcar com esta convicção. O maquinista, ‘Deus’, irá guiando com toda segurança por todo o trajeto, ora por caminhos íngremes, ora por suaves desfiladeiros, mas é certo que você chegará aonde determinou. Você está tranquilo, confia no seu condutor e sabe que a chegada será triunfal. Você fez uma viagem feliz porque a fé o conduziu e um destino maravilhoso o aguarda de braços abertos.
