The French boy and the young man from Kabul

On February 3, 2023, Emily Laurent took her twelve-year-old son, named Martin, and also invited her cousin Jamilla, a beautiful twenty-five-year-old girl.

Moment when Mrs Emily Laurent says:

- Jamilla, are we going to wander around the center of Paris? Today is Friday, a sunny day.

At this very moment, Jamilla replies:

-Emily, it is a great pleasure to wander the streets of Paris at random. It has corners and at each step a little secret in the City of Light. But what I would like to enjoy at nightfall is with an ice cold beer at Bar Chez Prune.

Admired, Emily Laurente says:

- Jeez! Do you know all these bars? And how do you get there?

The young woman, smiling, says:

-Cousin Emily, don't worry, Chez Prune is located in the 9th arrondissement, at 36 Rue Beaurepaire, 75010, right in front of Canal Saint Martin. Just ahead, you can see some street musicians playing their instruments. I really like going to Bar Chez Prune, there's a big space on the sidewalk. You know Cousin Emily, you will be blown away by the modern and most spicy bar in the French capital.

Emily Laurent asks:

- You're not thinking of going to any clubs? Or wishing to enjoy the night in Paris?

jamilla says:

-No, cousin. I don't go to any clubs. I only tell you that Paris is a memorable city, and when the lights illuminate the city, it seems like an explosion for all the monuments. Stay calm! I'll only drink chopps and Mediterranean snacks.

Emily Laurent asks:

-What about my son Martin? What are you going to drink?

- Well, balls! He drinks coke or juice. You know Martin loves listening to music, and I'm sure Martin will leave us alone at the bar, and run off to see the musicians on the Canal Saint Martin. Look, cousin, this child's time is opening Google and reading short story writers' stories and making videos on Tik-Tok and has 4,000 followers.

Emily Laurent says:

-So, tomorrow at 5 pm we'll go wander and see this bar.

At 5 pm, the three meet in the very busy center of the French capital, at which point Emily Laurant crosses the Canal Saint Martin in her car. At a certain turn, Martin shouts, saying:

-Stop! Stop! Mother. I see my friend Adib from Afghanistan. He's playing with the sax.

Emily Laurent complains, saying:

-I don't like it when you yell near me. I don't like. Speak calmly and patiently and I'll listen.

Martin says:

- I'm sorry mom. Now go through there again, very slowly. I want to see my friend Adib.

The boy, seeing Adid Mohamed, gets out of the car and rushes to meet his friend. and asks:

-Where is my friend Abud?

-He lives in Kabul. I just spoke to him a little while ago. He is currently sad because I still haven't got the money for his leg surgery. But, Abud will be glad for any help from him. Do you want to see abud now?

Martin, very saddened by the news, replies:

-Even so, I want to see Abud. I need to see him.

Adid responds, wait a minute while I play for this lady. Some time passed. Adib asks the boy Martin, which song he wants to hear. Without ado, Martin says that he would like to hear Alana del Rei's song Summertime Sadness.

While Adib plays the music that draws the attention of the French, Martin, collects money at the drink stalls scattered on several sidewalks. With a lot of collection, Martin gives it to his friend Adib, and he asks how Martin met Abud.

I met Abud in the short story by the Brazilian writer Erasmo Shallkytton, and he talked a lot about Adib Mohamed and his leg and the sax. I reread it six times because this story was real and it happened in Kabul. Adid is proud of the story and says.

-I don't understand how the Brazilian spoke so highly of me in his story, and even related my whole life with the sax. See Martin, Abud on the computer in conference with you.

-Yes true. I speak to him now.

Martin said.

-Yes I want.

The boy takes the computer and hands it to Martin.

- Hello Abud. How are you doing? I'm Martin, I live in Paris. I always hear his story, it is very beautifully described by the Brazilian Erasmo Shallkytton.

abud speaks

-Very good that you liked it. I can't walk, I have my leg broken in two places.

Martin asks:

-How do I pick you up and do your surgery?

Abud says with sad face.
