Pesquisadores da Universidade de Stanford, Califórnia, do curso de pós-graduação da
Escola de Ciências da Terra, após anos de pesquisa no interior da África, descobriram a origem das VUVUZELAS.
Em rituais africanos e primitivos, as mulheres pegam a "Corneta" e tocam forte, formando um barulho ensurdecedor em seus ritos tribais.
Enquanto isto, os homens dançam de uma maneira frenética quase entrando em êxtase, numa sensualidade ímpar.
Foram feitos filmes, mas é de uso exclusivo dos alunos da Escola de Ciências da Terra e é
totalmente restrito a uma futura defesa de tese sobre este assunto de um professor, responsável por este departamento universitário.
Um dos alunos, Peter Mcharann, 22 anos, escaneou uma foto e remeteu, via e-mail para sua noiva na Flórida.
Após, esta foto caiu na rede da Internet e este aluno foi expulso desta faculdade americana.
