FADE AWAY

I won’t promise you roses ... they'll fade away,

I won’t promise you a perfect poetry ... it wouldn't be enough ...

I won’t promise you the moon ... because i desire you all day long too...

I won’t promise kisses ...

they're just an extension of what my mouth want you to know...

I won’t promise you the stars ...

because to me your smile has a unique brightness ...

I'm just a poor ... poor poet ...

that goes wandering by phrases...stumbling ...

but i'll say something to you... what I feel now is soo pure and as long this doesn't change, nothing can't hold us back...

(not even the promises I didn't made ...)
