Our Secret

Let your eyes speak to me

observing my every move,

the blood will rush to my face

with shyness I looked away

keeping this brief moment our secret.

Let your feet walk toward me

getting closer and closer where I’ll be,

your cologne intoxicates the air as you passes me by

I wish you would say something more than just “Hi”.

Since then,

every time I see your face in a far distance,

my heart jumps in a wonderful rhythm.

This secret is still my own,

hidden from this world unknown

and yet I don’t feel it’s wrong –

so how come I’m feeling so alone.

Let your smile light up my gloomy days

satisfying my every desire, bringing me the peace within,

I’ll remember this moment vividly

the eagerness of my heart I’ll never forsake.

Let your enchanted voice echo the empty caves

shouting out the hunger from your heart,

just a tender moment of passion is all we need

to declare the love that you have for me,

I’m dreaming as we speak, it’s the touch –

it’s the closeness I’m craving for, nothing more.

Since then,

your name became a melody; engraving in my memory.

In time we’ll learn to love without fear,

without feeling ashamed of being happy.

Still this secret is my own,

hidden from all who doesn’t know

and yet I don’t feel it’s wrong –

so how come in this loneliness I do belong.

Let this new love of ours occupies the endless sky

it has taken an eternal flight,

nobody should interfere what’s yours,

nobody should interfere what’s mine.

I’m sorry for not giving you a second thought

I can’t avoid what my heart is trying to say,

walking away from you right now will be a mistake.

I wish I could turn off my feelings like a switch,

then I won’t be wondering what could have been.

We have to understand this is just the beginning,

who knew it all started by letting your eyes following my every move –

toward a wonderful relationship.

Who knew it all started by walking toward me –

our love might be complicated, it might not survive in this imperfect world,

by working together everything is possible.
