Sleep paralysis

Every night I can't fall asleep so easily

Every night these talkative voices in my head

Don't stop spelling my concerns

My dreams have been haunted

By what I haven't done

By what I haven't said

By the changes I haven't made

By the ways I haven't taken

By the sleep paralysis which controls me

Leaving these dark marks under my eyes

Revealing my sleepless nights

I sometimes feel like I'm floating over my bed

Sometimes it seems the shadows lurk me and show me my fears

I can't move my body

I scream but no one can hear me

I only can scream from within

I'm trapped into this sleep paralysis

Wake me up even if I'm not really asleep

Cuz I can see the monsters dancing around me

And I wanna come back to reality
