When the feather drops

being pushed to all sides,

and silently hits the ground...

Unnoticed!

Lifted in the air by near by steps, it goes again...

side to side, up the slide, blown like dust, dancing in lust,

lost in its course, cruising paths and threads in space,

galloping the weight of a shoe horse,

softening the shape of a shoe lace...

... Does the bird know that a feather

that once composed its coat

now, anywhere, blindly free floats?...
