I've Lost Time

I’ve lost time

writing poems

that doesn't make sense,

from a broken heart

that dreamt away.

I’ve lost time

feeling wanted and loved

and at the same time experiencing hurt.

I’ve lost time

waiting for a simple reply

to calm down what’s on my mind.

I’ve lost time, I’ve lost time,

from everything and

from every precious night.
