Moonlight Drunk

You are so cute when you're moonlight drunk

I could write a poem about you

Even if it´s just a silly story about shrimps

And forbidden words spoken in the dark

There are those tiny precious moments when I don´t believe in distance

I could swear a part of me dances that time

I'm not missing you right now

Because you're right here with me

The whole world can read whatever they want

And forever say those are only words

The whole world was not meant to understand

Their eyes are blind for what truly matters

I don´t know what will be of tomorrow

I'm not the guardian of the day after

But right now the moonlight is just where it was supposed to be

And until the last ray of light desappears

I'll be holding your hand until we fall asleep
