Shattered Glass (Review)

At first, it was just activity, a request from teacher Sandra Santos, in the discipline of Redação II: Writing a review about a film. However, this film really exceeded all my expectations. ‘Shattered Glass’ was written and directed by Billy Ray, who also is author and singer of country music in the United States, and has as cast: Hayden Christensen (main character in the series of Star Wars movies), Peter Sargaard, Hank Azaria, among others. A film based on real facts and shows the life of a journalist of the magazine “The New Republic”, one of the most important of United States. He is named Stephen Glass (Hayden Christensen), He is intelligent, humble, and very funny. His texts so always curious, and provocative. With it he won the support of colleagues and he’s a dizzying ascent. But one day the house falls…

‘Shattered Glass’ shows us that sometimes it is the journalists who cannot be trusted. The question the film posits is: who will hold them accountable? The answer lays partly in the making if this film. For those who like a good, intelligent and intriguing drama, ‘Shattered Glass’ is the right choice. Just check!
