Why are all poets so interested in love?

Maybe an obligation that comes from above?

Is it a way to mop

Wet/dry cries to stop

So broken hearts could sail

On until true love prevails?

Why are most poets so interested in death?

Maybe just a try to understand life's math?

So you could add some time

Or divide it by your crimes

And draw a complex map

By measuring out dead scraps?

Why are us poets so interest in words?

Maybe a symbolic army dispatched on a board?

Along with such hard themes

Symbols and help of dreams

We use inspiration to bend

Words making them our friends!
