A woman, a garden and her thoughts

A woman, a garden and her thoughts

With all the love in the world,

I dedicate this poetic prose to my beloved daughter Adriana, on her birthday.

It was a sunny autumn morning in a town in the Southern Hemisphere of this little planet of ours.

High in the blue sky, seagulls glided in groups, aimlessly, as if Time didn’t exist…

Happy, inspiring the suave scent that exudet from the flowers, she walked through the garden to which her hands gave life… She treats this little garden of hers with

warmth dedication and love …

The leaves with various shades of green, sparkled as the dew was still gently

covering them. Sunlight focused on many. The shiny droplets resembled to pure diamonds …

Flowers of many colors and textures: rough, satin, velvet …were the perfect

natural scenario for the multicolored butterflies, ladybugs of different colors …

Little hummingbirds put their long thin beaks inside the cloches beating their tiny wings

so rapidly that they almost became invisible …

Bees always hustled in their diurnal work, were seeking the nectar in the hearts of the flowers…

The breeze kept on singing in harmony with the birds...

What a sweet day it started … what a sweet day it will be…

She wondered: “these so small beings – with such short lives and yet so magnifiscent …

would they be aware of how much they add to the existing beauty ?

Certainly not …

There is no need to ’know’.They EXIST! This is enough.

LIFE? is a present from God!”
